STP Call for Speakers
STP Collaborative will soon be accepting speaking proposals for STPCon 2010. Please check back soon for more details.STP Collaborative seeks proposals from software developers and managers, test/QA managers and senior test professionals. We seek session proposals that exhibit content that is actionable (specific and practical how-tos), accurate, and whenever possible, original. Case studies from practitioners that exhibit best practices or innovative solutions are also welcome. Strong platform and presentation skills are essential. (No product pitches or vendor-focused sessions will be considered.)
Ideal conference session speakers are experienced practitioners in the testing field. Prior public speaking experience is certainly helpful, but not required. When speaking at STPCon, you will be educating your peers and offering practical solutions to the challenges faced in the daily life of a tester. Students often ask questions, and they expect the instructor to be able to answer from experience.
The ideal training course instructor might also be an experienced practitioner, but must have several years of experience teaching the subject matter, and be thoroughly familiar and comfortable with the materials and the position of mentor.
We do not accept proposals that involve vendors' product managers or marketing professionals as speakers.
Sessions should convey practical software testing education or performance management strategies, tactics and techniques. Class content should emphasize practical, hands-on information that attendees can begin to use immediately.
